Are There Comfortable Ballet Flats? Yes!!!! ~ OKA b. Review and Giveaway

I was on the hunt this year for a pair of ballet flats for my daughter. We have such a hard time finding her shoes that do not hurt her feet. Then I was sent OKA b. Birdie Ballet Flats for Women to review. These shoes are adorable, and the best part they are handcrafted for comfort!

Here's a little about the company. OKA b. started in 2005 with the purpose of creating a comfortable American made sandal, but has since branched out and now carries Ballet Flats, Thongs, Slides, and Heels too. They also carry a Men's line as well. Each of their shoes are handcrafted in America, recyclable, waterproof, and slip-resistant. 

My daughter is a size 9 1/2, so following the website's recommendations we ordered a 10 a 1/2 size up. This size was a perfect fit! She chose the Birdie Ballet Flats in Licorice from their Fall collection, and it has been a wonderful choice not only do they look super cute with dressy outfits, but they also pair well with her casual jeans.

What gives these shoes a comfortable status? Well the first thing I noticed was that they have what I am always looking for in a good pair of shoes for my kids- arch support. Sure there's the well known saying that women suffer for fashion, but with OKA b. flats that's not necessary. They also have massage beads and a sculpted heel cup. My daughter has not complained about these shoes once, and for her that's a miracle! She has such a hard time finding shoes that do not pinch or squish her feet. Thank you OKA b. because this Mommy was about at her wits ends trying to find a pair of shoes to fit her feet comfortably.

Another thing that I love is the Ballet Flats are non marking on our hardwood floors, plus they are also slip resistant. I'm sure you ladies out there can appreciate how not worrying about slipping and sliding around while out and about is a must! Another feature of these fashionable shoes that we love is they are washable! They are super easy to wash and sanitize too. (Don't want to forget to mention that the colors will never fade.)

Our overall opinion is that OKA b. Ballet Flats are the Most Comfortable flat we have ever found! I have no doubt that these will be my go to shoe for my daughter from now on. With the facts they are made in America, crafted for comfort with arch support, and slip resistant, all of which were a must have on my list for shoes, I have been won over. They have so many different colors and styles to choose from that I plan on grabbing some of their warmer weather sandals this year too.
