If there is one thing I can't stand, it's the lingering smell of dirty diapers in my home! Since I became preggers this time around, I have been looking at and comparing a lot of products that weren't even available when my son was born 6 1/2 years ago. Now after being given the opportunity to look over the Whisper Odor Free Diaper Pail, I have found a wonderful product to keep the stink away!
The Whisper Diaper Pail blocks those stinky smells from diapers by using an odor blocking spray called ODOGard, and few other innovative features. You simply press the convenient button on top of the pail before changing your baby's diaper to release a mist. Then after changing your little one's dirty bum just drop your dirty diaper in through the trap door under the lid, and after closing lid spray again. Viola! No lingering dirty diaper smells.
We already have two children and pets in our home, and I did wonder about the ODOGard sprays safety. No worries since it is tough on those smells, but also a water based spray that is both biodegradable and safe around kids and pets too. Each can of spray will last through about 200 dirty diapers too!
One of the best features, in my opinion, is the fact that there is no need to purchase special bags or refill liners. The Whisper Diaper Pail takes 6-8 gallon plastic kitchen bags. With my other two kiddos I had to go pick up those refills for our pail, and now I can just keep my eyes open for a sale to grab kitchen bags. This will be great for our budget, and when a new baby arrives every little bit really does help.
Other notable features include-
- a super convenient foot pedal ..... hands free disposal for Moms and Dads is a huge plus since we are usually holding baby!
- inside trap door so there's no reason to See or Smell the old diapers
- locking lid to keep the kiddos out
- ODOGard spray lock as well, if you have younger children that may think pressing the spray button is a fun activity. =)
- an inner pail, that simply pulls out to change the bags and easily wipe down
*One thing I do want to mention is that the Whisper Diaper Pail is only to be used with disposable diapers. Other items and cloth diapers are not recommended to be used with this system. This is strictly for the disposable dirty diaper business. =)
I am looking forward to holding, cuddling, and loving on our new baby, but not necessarily the random smells that accompany those diaper changing moments. Thanks to Whisper Diaper Pail and it's superior odor elimination..... now I won't have to smell those odors for any longer than necessary. All of our noses Thank You, Whisper!

I love that you can use any large trash bag in it. I also love that it has a child lock on it.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing worse than the strench of smelly diapers in the house. Love that this has a foot petal to keep your hands free from bacteria, and that it locks. Great item to have!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, why didn't I do more research before purchasing a diaper pail. This one is AMAZING! A spray to kill the stinky poopy odors AND it uses regular kitchen bags??!! That s one of the things I dislike about my current pail. I ran out of refill bags and had no where to put the stinky diapers but in the kitchen trash. Yucky! This is a great product, I'd LOVE to own it!! Thanks SO MUCH for the review! I'm glad I found out about this!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of Whisper Diaper Pail! But, i like that it keeps the stink away! We all know that the business of baby diapers can be super stinky! I'm going to let my brother's girlfriend know about this brand :) She is due in June!
ReplyDeleteI had something similar to that when mine were little. We loved it! Thanks for the review.
ReplyDeleteI really like how you don't have to buy special bags. This sounds great
ReplyDeleteMy boys can have some stinky diapers so I could definitely use this in my house. I have a diaper pail but sometimes the stink still escapes.
ReplyDeletewow this sounds like and amazing diaper pail, if i got one i would probably use one for the bathroom also, love that it has safety locks on the buttons and that you can use regular bags instead of having to purchase particular pail bags.. great review and thanks for share @tisonlyme143
ReplyDeleteI have used the arm and hammer diaper pail. Now I have a diaper genie. I can't find a pail to kill the smell of the boy's diapers and adult undergarments.
ReplyDeletei love how these hold the odor in. im so tired of diapers that stink up the house and having to take the trash out too often
ReplyDeleteThis is a great product to take out the smell of those dirty diapers. I like that there will be no lingering dirty diaper smells in my house.Great product!
ReplyDeleteSounds good to me! Most people I know tie the dirty diapers in plastic grocery bags & toss them, but that's not good for the environment! But no one wants that stinky diaper smell!
ReplyDeleteI wish they'd made these 40 years ago when I could have used one.

ReplyDeleteThis looks pretty awesome. For my baby shower I had gotten the Diaper Genie but I wish I would have known about this! I just love the foot pedal! How great would it be to not have to put your hand down in it every time!
ReplyDeleteI would love to give this to my friend for her baby shower, it looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOH I love that this has an odor blocking spray!! My diaper genie has become my nemesis because it does nothing to block the stink anymore!! So annoying!! Im constantly dousing it with lysol and spraying the area with lysol as well!!
