Make Your Bed With A Zip! ~ Zipit Bedding Review

I don't know about you, but getting my kids to make their beds is an ongoing struggle around our home especially with my seven year old son. Well, at least it was, until I discovered an all in one bedding set that allows you to make your bed with a quick zip. This has been perfect for speeding up that dreaded morning chore for our son.
*I received this product for reviewing purposes. All opinions are my own. see disclosure.

Zipit Bedding has an innovative design that I hadn't ever seen before. The Fitted Sheet is attached to the comforter with two zippers one on each side. You are able to simply zip them together and boom! Your bed is made in an easy zip just like a sleeping bag. The bedding sets are available in sizes from Twin to Queen, depending on the print or color, and they also include a pillow case that (you guessed it right?) zips up too!

After receiving the bedding set, I followed the enclosed instructions to go ahead and give it a quick wash since the bedding may be flattened during shipping. Personally, I give everything a quick wash before my kids use it anyway, so that wasn't a big deal. This is a good place to include the information that washing was pretty simple too. You double check that the comforter is completely zipped up with the fitted sheet, and in a large capacity washer run it through a cold wash cycle. You can also tumble dry on low which I did as well. The fabric on the bedding is made of 100% polyester, and after washing, it was really soft.

One of my favorite things about the Zipit Bedding, besides how easy it is to zip it up of course, is that all the bedding designs are reversible! They currently offers nine different color/print bedding sets. The Wild Animal print(pictured) twin size all in one Zipit Bedding set we received has a reversible comforter and pillow case. The wild animal side has navy blue elephants, light yellow giraffes, brown deer, dark yellow turtles, light blue whales, green crocodiles, and white polar bears with brown animal foot print outlines on top of grey camoflauge. These adorable wild animals are on one side of the comforter with a navy blue, dark yellow, and grey camoflaouge on the other side that matches the fitted sheet. Switching from one side of the comforter to the other is as simple as unzipping two zippers, flipping it over, and zipping those two zippers back up.

Another feature I want to mention is actually my son's favorite thing about the set. At the head of the set on the fitted sheet are two zippered pockets one on each side. My son is forever asking to have just a couple bedtime toys to look at as he falls asleep. These pockets are very handy for when I peek in his room after lights out, and tell him to put those toys away now. He can just put the little cars, or whatever toys he has chosen that night, in the pockets close by. Very cute and unique feature on this set that has been perfect for our family bedtime routine.

Zipit Bedding came to my rescue when it comes to helping my son make his bed. This saves me time in the mornings, and helps him start the day with a feeling of accomplishment. Plus I love glancing in his room, and even if he has his toys all over the room, the bed is made. Which helps the whole space look pulled together. These will work for young kids, older kids, and college students. Even adults can grab a Zipit Bedding set too with three styles available as of right now for Queen size beds that have bold color patterns.

  1. I've seen these before and think they are amazing! I don't have kids, but I love the idea behind these and wouldn't mind a set for camping.

  5. I would love for my kids to have zipit bedding. I always have to remind the kids to make their bed and they always act like it is so hard. I seen this product on Shark Tank. I like the different designs they have.
