Do you have a little one getting ready for school on your Holiday shopping list this year? Rock 'N Learn has the perfect Preschool bundle that will both entertain and help improve their readiness for school, the Rock 'N Learn 10 DVD Preschool Set which would make a fun gift to place under the tree!

We received our first Rock 'N Learn DVD a year ago to assist my son in learning his letters and sounds while in Kindergarten since he was struggling. He enjoyed it so much, and was learning without realizing it. I was so impressed that I reached out to Rock 'N Learn to join my 2014 Holiday Gift Guide, so I could share with all of you this excellent resource for children. Below is a little about Rock 'N Learn, and a chance for you to enter to WIN the 10 DVD Preschool Set {ARV $129.95}!!!!

The 10 DVDs included in this Preschool Set are-
  • Nursery Rhymes- this DVD introduces 36 different nursery rhymes with the characters singing them to traditional melodies with a modern pop style twist. Recommended for ages 3-5
  • Let’s Play School- Tying Shoes, printing letters, holding a pencil, and following directions are just a few of the topics covered in this DVD to help your little get ready for school. Recommended for ages 3-5
  • Colors, Shapes & Numbers- This DVD utilizes a bunch of fun ways to reinforce the preschool concepts of shape and number recognition. Not to mention helping them begin to count too. All while singing some fun tunes with some silly characters. Recommended for ages 2-5
  • Alphabet Fun-While heading out to the circus with the fun character Alphabet Al, your kiddos are being taught letters and sounds too. This DVD is recommended for ages 2-5
  • 1. First Sight Words (ages 3-5), 2. Sight Words- (ages 4-7), & 3. More Sight Words (ages 5+)- Some words are tricky and since they appear quite often in reading, these common sight words will help to boost your child's reading skills. Over 170 sight words are introduced with catchy songs in these DVDs. Our son just turned 7, and I have found that all three of the Sight Word DVDs were the perfect addition to our first grade reading curriculum this year, and with the fun repetition and songs keep my son engaged and learning. The More Sight Words DVD has advanced Dolch and Fry words actually covered in most first grade programs.
  • Phonics for Beginners- This DVD introduces the most common letter sound for each letter and even has an on-screen mouth that shows how to properly form the sound. They will also combine sounds to form beginning words. Recommended for ages 3-5
  • Phonics for Reading- Silent E, short vowels, blends, digraphs, and more are all covered with fun music. This DVD will also be a helpful with spelling. Recommended for ages 6+
  • Rock ‘N Read- Practice make perfect as the saying goes, and I love that this DVD includes four classics for your kiddo to practice reading. After they have read the story, fun songs review and add to the learning process with a few more challenging words. Recommended for ages 4-8
The Rock 'N Learn DVDs are informative while sometimes being silly and incorporates fun pop style music to encourage your child to learn. The animated characters use age appropriate humor and keep that beat going which really has captured and held our son's attention.

Rock 'N Learn has been around for over twenty years, and has earned over 150 awards for their educational DVDs and apps. After viewing these DVDs over the last couple weeks, I found that Rock 'N Learn sure knows how to take a subject and turn into a fun and educational DVD and deserves in my opinion all of those awards. With the Sight Word DVDs alone your child will be able to exposed to over 170 words! Not to mention the phonics DVDs too. My son is past the preschool stage, but even in first grade I found that these have been wonderful for him. The DVDs included in this Preschool Set have a variety of running times ranging from 30-45 minutes.

Rock 'N Learn DVDs are a informative resource for kids to help get them ready for school, learn their shapes and colors, and even help them with their literacy skills, and would make a great gift for the preschooler on your list. Make sure to connect Rock 'N Learn on Social Media below.

I would be excited about any of them... my oldest knows how to read pretty well, but the youngest is still very little, so all of these would be useful for her as she grows. :)
