Fun Times at Disney Live! ~ Review

I was given the coolest opportunity to go see Disney Live! presents Three Classic Fairy Tales on Sunday with free tickets in exchange for a review. I hadn't ever taken my son to see a live performance before, and was interested to see how entertained he would stay. Should never have worried, it was captivating for both the parents and children for the very beginning to the final scene!

The live performance began with our Disney Favorites Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy beginning to read the fairy tale Snow White. Each of the actors did an excellent job portraying their character with  elaborate movements, and effects. As I would have expected the 7 Dwarfs stole the scenes with their crazy antics and funny comments. My only issue with this part of the performance was that the lightning flashes, and thundering crashing mixed with the other loud sounds during the scene with the evil queen really seemed to disturb my 3 year old nephew, but he quickly recovered and enjoyed the rest of the tale.

The next act was the story of Cinderella. The evil step sisters seemed to steal every scene and have the whole audience cracking up with their over the top actions and very real to the original movie's costumes. We were all laughing and enjoying Cinderella's tale from her lowly beginning to the triumphant end where she is able to prove her identity with the glass slipper and marry her prince.
Our little princes enjoying the intermission time.
The last act was Beauty and the Beast. As expected the music and dancing was superb. During this part of the show the fog machine seemed to go a bit overboard and few times we had a hard time seeing the actors. Still it was entertaining, and followed really close to the original Disney story line that we all know and love.

The final scene with all the characters including Mickey and Minnie was so cute. Everyone was applauding, and wishing them farewell. My son thoroughly enjoyed the whole show, and I was so impressed with how the characters continually brought the audience in and were able to grab and keep younger children's attention. If you have a chance to catch this Disney Live! show I would definitely recommend attending. You will not be disappointed, and both you and your kiddos will have a Fun Family Time!
