Keep you Kiddos excited about reading with BOOK IT!

The BOOK IT!  program 

is an excellent homeschooling resource!!! 

If you haven't heard of Book IT! or you would like more information check out their page HERE. All of the materials for the program are free and are full of suggestions for setting up the reading schedule and how to use the Pizza Hut certificates. 

The program is for grades K-6.  

Just a side note, I really wanted to enroll my son since he will be starting Kindergarten this year, but there's an age stipulation that the child must be 5 as of Sept. 1, 2012. However, they do have the R.E.D. Zone (read every day), a great resource for younger ages. It has suggested reading lists, free printables, and ideas to "stretch the story".

 The BOOK IT! site also has a great summer reading program, which includes a sweepstakes, and ideas to keep your kiddos reading throughout summer break (June 15th- August 15th). While you are there check out their super cool tool to track your reading minutes.

Enrollment for homeschoolers in the 2012-2013 school year is now open and you can sign up your family Here! Never to early to start lesson planning for next school year!!! ;)
