Arctic Zero Review

Who loves icecream?!!!

Oh I sure used to.... until I found out I was lactose intolerlant. Since that time I have learned to live without it, but recently I found out I didn't have to. Thanks to all natural Arctic Zero, now I don't have to skip the icecream! They have a tasty frozen dessert for those of us who can't eat the traditional icecream, and for those of us who are trying to make better food choices! I include myself in both of those categories. =)

Arctic Zero uses a blend of Monk Fruit concentrate and organic cane sugar to sweeten their yummy frozen dessert. They do not use any artifical sweeteners or sugar alcohols, and because of this blend it is also considered low glycemic!

One thing I noticed right away was how low the calories are for an entire pint. Only 150 calories!!! The bars are only 85 calories a piece!! The main reason I consider Arctic Zero a better food choice is because it is fat free and gluten free. One pint contains over 13 grams of protein and 8 grams of dietary fiber. This meets my personal requirements for a better food choice over regular icecream.

The nutrition facts from the back of the Vanilla Maple pint.
They sent me a pint of each of their eight flavors, and included 2 boxes of their icecream bars. The flavors for pints are Vanilla Maple, Chocolate, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Strawberry, Mint Chocolate Chip, Coffee, Cookies and Cream, and seasonal flavors. They sent me Pumpkin Spice. The bars come in boxes of four with two of each flavor per box. You can get 2 Strawberry and 2 Orange Cream or 2 Chocolate and 2 Vanilla. Yummy!

Our favorite flavors were the Vanilla Maple, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Chocolate. These were the creamiest flavors in my opinion. My kids scarfed down the bars like it was their job, so I will include those in our list of favorites too. ;)

The only flavor that none of us really cared for was the Cookies and Cream. This probably had a lot to do with the fact that it's just flavored, and doesn't contain chunks of cookie which we are used to.

After having to avoid icecream like the plague...I was skeptical that I could truly enjoy this frozen dessert again. Well that was a needless worry...Not only did I love the flavors, but I didn't feel ill afterwards. That's the main thing in my eyes! We loved the fat free, gluten free, lactose free, and low calorie all natural Arctic Zero at my house!! =)

  3. This ice cream sounds pretty good. Great for a person like me trying to make healthier choices but still being able to enjoy something I love. I can appreciate that it is not made with artificial sweeteners either. A lot of times those can be bad for you too. I am glad you get to finally eat something you love and no longer have to give up ice cream. Great review. I am going to have to check them out.
