Soothe Your Sore Throat With GoGargle! ~ Review and #BMNGiveaways

Over the last couple weeks here in Indiana, we have had some crazy weather. Most of the mid-west has. It seems like ever time the weather warms up then turns frigid again, we end up with sore throats in my home. I can remember as a kid my mom telling me to gargle salt water for relief from my sore throat, but let's face it... it just tastes nasty and who wants to mix that up!

*Sponsored Post. I received a GoGargle! Kit in order to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own. see disclosure.

Recently I was given the opportunity to try a new way to find sore throat relief- GoGargle! This product is based on the salt water gargling idea that Moms and Grandmas have been pushing for years as a home remedy for a sore throat, but is more convenient and tastes much better. GoGargle! comes in the form of easy to use tablets that make treating my sore throat super simple. All you have to do is drop one tablet in a half cup of warm water, wait for it to dissolve, then gargle.

Just like salt water gargling GoGargle! doesn't just hide the pain like the sprays and drops, but actaually uses the power of salt to reduce inflammation. The best part is the taste.... nothing like plain old salt. The tablets contain honey, aloe, chamomile, zinc and a few other ingredients to provide relief and soothe the throat tissue. The blend of salts will reduce the bacteria in your throat, and the other ingredients soothe and moisterize while also giving this method a much better taste.

I used GoGargle! last week, and was given relief from a sore, scratchy throat from all the temperature ups and downs we have been dealing with. It really did help me not have that tell tale catch when swallowing, and I was so happy to not have that nasty salt taste in my throat for hours. You can taste the sweetness mixed with the salt, and it's not over powering. Do want to mention that if you have a severe or persistent sore throat or sore throat accompanied by a high fever, headache, nausea, and vomiting which may be serious to please contact your physician promptly as noted on the GoGargle! product warning.

I was pleasantly surprised that this product really seemed to soothe my throat much better even than when I usually just gargle with salt. Since these are in convenient tablets, they are easy to have handy, and think I will make sure to pack them when we go on our spring break vacation here in a few weeks. For some reason, I always get a scratchy, sore throat while traveling, and having these with us just in case will be an easy way to help my throat if it acts up.
