Create Abilities For Kids ~ Art Kit Review

Did you know January 19th was National Popcorn Day? Well, I didn't either, and I live in the Midwest! I found out about this fun day when my Create Abilities For Kids Art Kit arrived.

Create Abilities For Kids .... is a monthly Art Kit that includes crafts that are age appropriate for kiddos 3-5. Inside every box are fun crafts for you to complete with your little one that are usually centered around a special holiday or event associate with that month. It also includes some interesting facts to share with your little one while you are completing this art project together.

Having a craft time with younger kiddos has some wonderful benefits. Some of the developmental benefits doing an Art project together with your preschooler include language development & fine motor skills. It has also helps with those listening skills that all preschoolers seem to have a little trouble with. Check out this wonderful list of the positive results from doing crafts with younger children  on their website.

One of the best parts about the Create Abilities For Kids Art Kits, in my opinion, is all the supplies are included. Each box also has paper to lay down to protect the surface you choose to work on. The Art Kit gives you more time to spend with your little one instead of planning a craft, searching for the supplies, and having to find a spot to store craft supplies when you are finished.

Our Art Kit we received was centered around the National Popcorn Day theme & contained the glue, 2 colors of paint, yellow tissue paper, brown bag, 3 paint brushes, & directions. It also included the paper to protect the coffee table where we decided to do the craft. The directions were very simple to follow and laid out step by step. The interesting facts about popcorn had us chatting while we created together.

Now my son is 5, and I must admit we do not do a bunch of crafts because he just doesn't have the patience for the ones I usually do with my daughter. The Create Abilities For Kids Art Kits seem to take the exact amount of time a younger child can sit still in mind when they plan their monthly boxes. {A huge plus to me} The National Popcorn Day craft that my son & I did together took us less than 10 minutes from start to finish, and my son had a blast painting and gluing.

I really love the way the Art Kits are organized with everything you need all in one bag, and truly enjoyed quality time talking & laughing with my son. The Create Abilities For Kids Art Kits are the perfect way for parents to do small art projects with their kiddos, without having to store or search for any supplies. With everything included and easy to follow directions, you do not have to be "crafty" to create with your young one. Plus your younger kiddos get to have a special craft time doing something age appropriate with Mommy or Daddy. ~Amanda
