Wild Kratts Wild Animal Babies DVD #entertainment

This past school year, I attempted to do a unit study on mammals. Since our son is such an animal lover, I thought it would be fun and educational to really jump in to learn more about a few animals. After the first day, I quickly realized that I was going to have to change up my lesson plans. Not only did he already know every little detail I had researched and prepared activities on for these animals; he also started telling me more about their specific habitat, special characteristics and other cool facts.

When I asked my son how he already knew all these little known facts and details my son said, "Well you know we love to watch Wild Kratts, Mommy!" Then totally annoyed he said,"The Kratts Brothers already taught me ALL of this. Do you have anything else fun for us to do today?" I had to laugh, and then thought about how thrilled I was because Wild Kratts is one of his favorite programs and just so educational!

I am happy to partner with PBS KIDS and feature the latest release from the Wild Kratts Series - "Wild Animal Babies" on DVD. What’s better than exploring nature and meeting amazing animals with the Wild Kratts? Meeting amazing baby animals with the Wild Kratts, of course! In select adventures on this DVD, the crew helps a very cute (and majorly destructive) baby elephant stay out of trouble, wrangles some playful lion cubs, and cares for their new pal, “Nubs,” a baby rhino. This DVD includes four stories, and has a run time of approximately 120 minutes.

The four stories included on this DVD are listed below.

Elephant in the Room
The brothers come across a lone baby elephant and bring him back to the Tortuga HQ for safety until they can find his mom. They quickly learn how mischievous baby elephants can be and get more than they bargained for when it almost destroys the Tortuga!

Bad Hair Day
Chris and Martin try to help a lion named “He Who Breathes Fire” get past obstacles and back to his pride, which is under siege from two intruder lions.

Chris and Martin get caught in the middle of a zebra stampede, and when the dust clears, a lone baby zebra is left behind. The Wild Kratts must find the young zebra’s herd and return him to his mom.

Let the Rhinos Roll!
The Wild Kratts team is on an important mission to unearth why rhinos are mysteriously disappearing from the African savanna. They soon discover that Zach Varmitech has been kidnapping them to create new super Rhino Dozers so the creature adventurers devise a plan to rescue them – and it just might work!

I highly recommend Wild Kratts as a fun and educational program, and your kids will learn so much about baby animals while enjoying this new DVD release "Wild Animal Babies"!

Do your kids have a favorite animal? How do keep learning about animals fun in your home? I would love for you to leave me a comment and share your ways to keep learning fun.
