Pediped Shoes- Perfect For Little Feet ~ Review

While on the hunt for the perfect little baby shoes to cover our new guys 10 toes, that I can't wait to count for the first time in a few weeks, I came across Pediped. After being sent a pair to look over in order to facilitate this review, I know these will be great shoes for our new baby when he arrives!

Pediped was started by a Mom, Angela Edgeworth, who was searching to find the best shoes for her little girl. She learned that doctors recommended bare feet walking or leather soles. After much research and product testing, we now have shoes for our little ones that are the "next best thing to bare feet". Pediped shoes are flexible with cushioned heels and allow air flow through the body of the shoe.




















Pediped shoes come in three different lines. Each of these lines are geared toward our little ones growth and development to be the best shoe for that stage. It is recommended that you keep your child in the Originals for as long as possible then move up.  I also want to make sure and point out that all three lines of children's shoes have been recognized by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) as being beneficial to children's growing feet.

1. Originals ~ for infants in learning to walk stage (ages 1-24 months)
2. Grip n Go ~ for the active walker (ages 9 months - 3 years)
3. Flex ~ for the the confident walker (ages 1-8 years)

I was sent a the Originals Fredrick in navy/ orange, in size 6-12 months. These shoes feature a velcro closure, and have slip resistant coating. I just love the hand stitching too! They are so soft on the inside, and are made from high quality leather perfect for little baby feet.
*Although this style is not machine washable, many of Pediped's Grip n Go and Flex style shoes are, which will be wonderful as our new little one grows. 

I cannot wait for our little guy to arrive and put him in his first pair of Pediped shoes! Notice I said "first pair" because after studying this shoe, the background of the company, and looking over all the details that went into making this the best fit for a little ones growing feet, I feel very confident in saying he will own many pairs of Pediped's shoes over the years. ~ Amanda
