Back To School 2013 With Easy Peasy All In One Homeschool

It's that time of year again, and we are Back To School
with a new Totally Free Online Curriculum!!!

We started our 2013-14 School year on Wednesday of last week, August 14th. For some reason the schools in our area were all starting in the middle of the week. This year we decided to just follow our local district's schedule for the most part, so my kiddos are off on the same days as their friends. Yesterday we completed our 8th day of the school year! =)

What I am so excited to share with all of you is this school year we are using a "new to us" FREE online curriculum - Easy Peasy All In One Homeschool. My Mom actually sent me the link last spring & said I should check it out, even if I just wanted to use it for a couple subjects. This curriculum is entirely online & everything is totally FREE- an internet connection, printer, and very basic school supplies are all that is required!!!!! Daily lessons are planned out for each grade level with links to ALL FREE RESOURCES (high school courses being added now). Not to mention there is a preschool program too! This is a HUGE blessing for us, and especially to anyone who is low on funds & wants to homeschool.

Well, I went back & forth over the summer because for someone like me who loves to lesson plan.... I had a hard time giving it up. After pouring over all of the resources and daily lesson plans, that obviously took the creator, Lee Giles, a homeschooling Mom, tons of hours of searching and dedication, I just thought why not give it a shot.

Easy PeasyWe are only 8 days into the program, but I am beyond excited with how quickly both of my kiddos are adapting to following an online course. We are using a Nook for my son (Kindergarten) & my daughter (Fifth Grade) uses her tablet & my laptop depending on the subject. I had already purchased a few books & readers, so we are probably just going to use those every once in a while to supplement or enrich their studies. {Not that it's needed because she has done an excellent job!} Plus she has a Facebook page (link on the Easy Peasy All in One Homeschool site) & there are multiple Facebook group pages you can join for support too where Moms & Dads discuss & share insights on the program plus get to know others in their area using Easy Peasy All In One Homeschool.

If even a small part of you is contemplating homeschooling, check out this site HERE! & have I thrown out there- It's totally FREE?!!!! I'm sure all of you know by now this Mom loves FREE! Wishing everyone a wonderful 2013-14 School Year!!!! ~Amanda  =)

*Please note- I was not compensated or asked to promote/review this online curriculum in any form. Just found this FREE, beyond amazing, homeschooling resource and wanted to share, so others who feel they may not be able to afford to homeschool could see you really can do it for free! =)
