Are You Looking For a Soft Winter Hat For Baby? ~ GoumiHat Review and Giveaway

*I received the product below for reviewing purposes, but was not required to write a positive review. All opinions are my own. see disclosure

The weather here in Indiana can be frigid one day, and warm enough for just a light hoodie the next. It's one of the many joys of living in the mid-west. One thing I needed to find this year for our new baby boy was a good hat that he would stay on to keep him warm and comfy while out and about during those chilly days. Especially with all the information out there right now about not hooking your baby into a carseat with bulky coats or snow suits, I thought a good hat would be the perfect solution with a blanket over the top to keep him toasty warm.

GoumiKids, a woman owned organic company, had exactly what I had been searching for with their GoumiHats. These adorable and reversible hats for baby have stylish modern prints. One side features the cute print while the other has a solid color. The hat is made to perfectly fit and stay on your little one's head and ties under the chin for a snug but comfy fit.

One of the first things I noticed about the GoumiHat after receiving it is how incredibly soft it is. I am trying to find the right words to describe how silky soft this winter hat for baby feels. Made with 70% bamboo-derived viscose and 30% organic cotton blend the GoumiHat is premium comfort for baby's head. {The small pattern section is made using 100% cotton}

The buttery, smooth material seems to mold around my son's head since the design utilizes a customized fit that seems to adjust as he grows. He used to resist hats, and with this one once I tie it on he doesn't even seem to notice, and I totally believe it is because of it's velvety smooth softness.

The GoumiHat is available in a variety of pink, blue and gender neutral patterns. We received the Medium/ Large Sized Sketch (blue) Hat. The majority of the hat is a white, but the small section of pattern really gives it a modern look. These hats come in Small/ Medium for babies with 14.5-16.5 inch head circumference and Medium/Large for babies with a 16.5-18 inch head circumference. *GoumiKids does carry a Newborn size GoumiHat, but it is available in the Newborn Gift Set that also includes the GoumiMitts and GoumiBoots.

The GoumiHat has been exactly what we needed to keep our little guy's head warm and toasty even on bitter chilly days when I had to take him out. I love that he leaves it on, and how it doesn't slide around once tied. It is so incredibly soft, and stylish with all of the pattern choices. The best part is this hat is budget friendly for only $16, and will grow with your baby throughout the chilly season.
