GeoDice is an awesome game from GeoToys that teaches all the countries and capitals to children (& adults too). GeoDice is a super fun, fast paced game that challenges you to learn all the countries and capitals of the world by rolling dice, flipping a timer, jotting down as many as you can before the time is up.
The Playtime DVD I was sent to review is 35 minutes long, and has short 5 minute episodes. This really held my very busy son's attention. Sometimes he was playing with his toys while
watching, and I didn't make a big production out of our viewing time by saying,"Sit still and watch
this". Thinking that really helped it feel like a fun thing to do rather
than a school related activity. By the way, notice I said "our viewing". One of the helpful hints from the insert inside the DVD & on the Little Pim website suggests watching with your child, and I am so happy I followed that direction...... I'm learning Spanish with him. Pretty cool.
Getting your kids to eat their veggies and fruits can be a struggle & at times it can even feel like a battle! My son is a super picky eater, and I have resorted to "hiding" the healthy fruits & veggies within dishes just to make sure he is getting the nutrients he needs.
