Having clean clothes for my family is a never ending cycle! {yes pun intended =)} Now that I am also washing cloth diapers a few times a week, I have been on a steady hunt for a laundry detergent that is a safe choice for both our clothes and my lil one's diapers too. Well, the great people at Rockin' Green sent me a bag of Classic Rock Motley Clean to try out in our home. It is exactly what I was looking for!
First of all, I LOVE that this brand was developed by a Mom who was fed up with misleading "Green Cleaners". Everything about Rockin' Green is eco-friendly, from the formula to the packaging, which is biodegradable. The laundry detergents and cleaners are made with biodegradable plant-based and petroleum-free surfactants. Rockin' Green also does it's best to make sure all of their products are safe for those of us with sensitive skin.
Rockin' Green Laundry Detergent has so many qualities that make it ideal for cloth diaper laundry, and still work great on your family's clothes as well. To start with, you can pick your perfect detergent. They have developed different formulas based on your water type- Soft Rock, Hard Rock, or somewhere in between, Classic Rock. By the way..I think it's cool the way they have all the different varieties follow the Rock Music theme. Overall I am loving the Rockin' Green Laundry Detergent! The main thing is all of our clothes and cloth diapers are clean, and I no longer need to have two different detergents on hand. Anything that makes this Mommy's life easier is a plus, and with Rockin' Green in my laundry room I have an easy, safe choice for the my baby and our family's laundry.

I think this would be a good detergent for my 18 year old daughter to try. Other detergents are itchy for her, I like that this one is good for those with sensitive skin.

ReplyDeleteHubby and I are both sensitive to detergents which is why I make my own - but its always nice having a back up around that we know won't give us any issues - and this sounds like it fits the bill!

ReplyDeleteI used rockin green hard rock for months in Az where we have hard water that is disgusting. I had no issues except it isn't sold anywhere near me, I don't want to pay shipping, and it's kinda expensive so I've been using Tide.

ReplyDeleteWe start cloth diapering in 2 weeks or less when little one arrives and I haven't decided on a laundry detergent yet but I'm thinking rockin green will be on the top of my list. I like that it has varieties based upon the hardness of your water because from what I've read on forums this really effects your laundry and how well the detergent works. Lavender is going to be the first scent I'll try!

I started with Rockin' Green for my diapers but I was so impressed with how little soap it took to get them all nice and clean that I started using it on all of my family's laundry. I've never looked back! It's just fantastic at getting everything stain and smell free and a great value since it's literally 2 tbsp. per load to get the job done. Can't be sad about that!
