Rocky Mountain Popcorn Review

If I could think of one snack that we must have during our family movie nights.... it would be POPCORN!!! Not sure if it's ingrained in our brains from the movie theaters, but I crave it while watching a movie. Thanks to Rocky Mountain Popcorn, we had plenty of popcorn for our family movie night!

 Rocky Mountain Popcorn has an excellent variety of flavors. We all tried every flavor. All of us pretty much liked everyone of them, the Southwest Cheddar and Jalapeno flavors were a bit too spicy/ hot for my kiddos.  After our taste test, we each had our special bag that was claimed as our own!!! Our favorite picks are as follows: Jalapeno for my hubby, Caramel for my son, White Cheddar for my daughter, and I loved the Kettle Corn flavor. Each of the bags were full of delicious, tasty popcorn. They weren't over loaded with crumbles, and didn't contain any kernels that hadn't popped! More yummy for the tummy!!! =)

While reading through Rocky Mountain Popcorn's website I learned quite a bit about their popcorn's nutrition, and guess what is my new favorite snack? Um.... Rocky Mountain Popcorn!!! They air pop their popcorn....which I love.....keeping it extremely low in saturated fat!!! According to their website, "Rocky Mountain Popcorn is all natural, gluten-free, nut-free and certified non-GMO." &" You won’t find corn syrup or partially hydrogenated anything in Rocky Mountain Popcorn" Not too mention the fact that popcorn has more protein than an egg or spinach, and it contains fiber and antioxidants. Can we say, "Wooo HOOO" for guilt free munching?!!!

 When I heard about the Sodastream, and making your own soda at home..... I had to find out more. 

After trying it out, we learned that....

1. The Sodastream is simple to set up, and make a liter of soda, flavored water, fruit drinks and more.

2. Sodastream soda's are healthier for you since they have less calories.

3. Using the Sodastream is better for the environment.

                                                                                Set up and Ease of Use

I was sent the Fountain Jet model in Black/Silver. You can attach the Carbonator in just a few seconds and it's ready to go. Very easy to set up! Since you do not need to use electricity, you can make your soda anywhere. We made ours on the kitchen table so the kiddos could see and help. Didn't really need much help because all you do is fill the Liter bottle up to the line. Then attach it to the machine, and pump the desired about of carbon into the water. We used 4-6 pumps because we love the fizz! The last thing is to add the flavor you desire. The whole process takes just under 3 minutes. Yes, I timed us just to see! =D
